The HR Business Partner leads and manages the people agenda for their internal client group.  They create and lead the people change and transformation agenda for their area of responsibility and ensure strong alignment between local needs and the overall culture, people strategy and process.

The Business Partner is responsible to ensure standards are raised in ALL aspects of people management in their area.

As well as a specific functional responsibility, each HRBP has project and process responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching / HR Functional - Consult, train, mentor and coach local managers and associates in areas that include Employee Relations, Recruitment, Leadership, Communications, Engagement, Performance Management, Rewards Management, Succession Planning.
  • Employee Engagement - Partner with management team to identify and analyze areas of people improvement in each process, benefits, engagement.
  • Take the lead on organisational design and development for agile, performance oriented and efficient organisation within your specific client group
  • Support core HR activity with client group, whilst up skilling line managers to be less reliant on HR
  • Work collaboratively and effectively as part of the HR team, share learnings and best practice
  • Support the HR function in moving away from a transactional administrative function to an efficient and strategic HR
  • Deliver project work within specified time lines, with excellence and a smile on your face


  • Proven track record as an HRBP or Senior Business Partner with significant experience operating as an HRBP to a senior stakeholder group.
  • You must have experience of partnering with functional leaders in an SSC/ BPO environment.
  • Confident English AND Hungarian language knowledge (verbal, written)
  • Track record of managing employee populations of 200+ persons
  • An up to date working knowledge of local employment law.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Unquestionable integrity / demonstrable respect for others.
  • Financial and commercial awareness, with strong analytical skills and an excellent aptitude for developing innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Planning, prioritizing, persevering and delivering improvements to achieve objectives within timescales.
  • Ability to initiate, develop and implement effective strategies with clear goals and to make clear, informed, appropriate and timely decisions together with an ability to challenge poor performance.
