We have an opening for a Credit Controller to join our team based at our Head Office in Ellerslie (conveniently located within walking distance from the train station).  Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, you will be responsible for credit control, customer queries and general administration.

About the role:

You will be responsible for driving the recovery of consumer debt from unpaid rental invoices and damage claims from customers and corporate clients across New Zealand and Australia.

Working in partnership with all stakeholders within the business, claims managers, external debt collection service providers and our valued drivers, you will ensure prompt, professional communication for the retention of important client relationships.

So, what are we looking for?

Previous experience in finance, accounts and/or customer service role will be essential, as will significant knowledge and experience working with of MS Office Suite.  Strong accounting systems experience specifically with Oracle will be highly advantageous.

Besides the above you will need to have exceptional communications skills with the ability to remain calm and professional even when faced with difficult conversations. Your strong negotiation and problem-solving skills will be essential to succeed.  We work in a fast-paced environment so being able to work well under pressure and autonomously within a team will see you thrive in this role.
