Avis Budget Group (“ABG”), LLC, is searching for an Accounts Payable Processor to join our Field Administration Accounting Accounts Payable team based in Virginia Beach. This job contributes to the success of Avis Budget Group by being responsible for auditing transactions completed in various ABG systems to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures set forth by ABG. 

The impact you’ll make:  

The Problem Resolution Specialist position will provide administrative support and customer service in a consistent and professional manner. The primary goals of the Customer Service position are:

Maintain a consistent level of professionalism and outstanding customer service through quick action and constant follow up.

Maintain all payable functions.

Ensure all records are properly and accurately maintained.

What you’ll do:  

Coordinate with vendors to resolve all account issues and escalate all unresolved issues to management.

Perform research for all inquiries and take required action to resolve all issues efficiently.

Answering the phones and address concerns or redirecting calls as appropriate.

Providing superior customer service in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.

Serving as the first response to all appropriate customer service-related issues, providing response, correspondence, and communications as necessary to address all appropriate customer service concerns in a timely and efficient manner.

What we’re looking for:  

  • High School Degree/ GED required
  • Minimum of two years customer service experience
  • Minimum of two years in an analytical or reporting role
  • Strong working knowledge of current customer service techniques and procedures.
  • Good analytical & critical thinking skills
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail & a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); knowledge of MS Access databases
  • Advanced computer skills, typing, email, operation of MS Office applications and operation of windows-based software as training provides
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.         
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Proficient Writing Skills
  • Attention to details & a high level of accuracy & confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment.
  • Willingness to collaborate with team members & members of other departments.
  • Good customer service & conflict resolution skills
