HR Data Analyst

We're on the hunt for an HR Data Analyst who is not only passionate about data but also eager to be a part of the foundational phase of HR data analytics and play a pivotal role in the HR Data and Analytics team at Avis Budget Group. This position is crucial in dissecting HR data to provide insight on patterns, trends and identify issues. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member, eager to harness data and technology to empower HR decision-making with robust analytics.

We are looking for data enthusiast who is eager to dive deep into HR analytics, leveraging technical skills to drive meaningful insights and contribute significantly to the strategic direction of HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of HR data to produce data-driven, insightful reports in Tableau & Power BI to enable strategic & operational HR & business decisions.
• Key role in establishing the first HR Data Lake, ensuring its scalability and effectiveness in handling large sets of diverse HR data.
• Manipulate and integrate data from diverse sources, focusing on automating these processes where feasible.
• Lead and manage special projects, aligning them with HR objectives and ensuring they deliver value.
• Support the Senior Manager, HR Data and Analytics with data analysis in all areas of core HR data and be capable of offering recommendations/solutions.
• Support the HR Leadership and broader HR Team by delivering ad hoc reporting, analysis & insight.
• Actively contribute to delivering, maintaining, and improving HR services, procedures and processes to increase employee satisfaction, driving performance and achieving results.
• Expand our HR reporting and analytics capabilities, adapting to evolving business needs.
• Review KPI’s and other metrics and be able to identify any issues.
• Maintain high quality of process documentation relating to data analysis.

Skills and Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Familiarity: Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, and other Power platform products.
• Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques (ETL).
• Experience in data analysis and data management.
• Deep understanding and curiosity of HR data and people analytics.
• Have a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to question and troubleshoot data.
• Ensuring a continuous problem-solving mentality that works to improve processes & reporting.
• Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as required.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse client group across different functions, levels, and cultures.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently as well as part of a team.
