We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist who will be a key player in ensuring smooth payroll operations across multiple European entities in International from Barcelona.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll take ownership of all payroll activities and be a trusted expert for employees and stakeholders across the region:
Manage end-to-end payroll for several countries with accuracy and compliance
Ensure payroll is delivered on time and aligned with local tax and labor regulations
Act as the primary partner for employees and internal teams on complex payroll queries
Apply policies related to leaves, benefits, allowances, and statutory payments
Collaborate closely with external payroll vendors to secure correct data and settlements
Review and validate payroll inputs including gross pay, bonuses, commissions, pension contributions, and absences
Work with People Systems teams to drive seamless HR–Payroll integrations
Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance payroll efficiency and employee experience
What you bring
Proven experience managing full payroll lifecycle
Strong understanding of multi-country payroll, tax, compliance, and audit requirements
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to interpret and simplify complex payroll topics with clarity
Fluency in English and Spanish
Additional European languages (Portuguese, Italian, French, etc.) are a strong plus
Detail-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
