Our 25,000 employees raise the bar every day, bringing different perspectives, taking ownership, and leading with integrity. We’re defining the future of mobility with safe, sustainable solutions that move people, businesses, and communities forward.
Avis Budget Group is looking for a customer-obsessed Product Manager to own and evolve a critical part of our digital customer journey across web and mobile. Reporting into the VP of E-Commerce Product, this role will focus on a specific segment of the funnel—driving measurable improvements in customer experience, conversion, revenue, and retention.
You’ll operate at the intersection of customer needs, business goals, and technology—leading a cross-functional product “pod” to deliver high-quality, high-impact digital experiences at pace
What You'll Do:
Product Ownership & Delivery
Own a defined area of the digital funnel (e.g., discovery, booking, post-booking, loyalty) across web and app
Define and prioritize product backlogs aligned to customer needs and business impact
Lead your cross-functional pod (engineering, design, analytics) to deliver high-quality product experiences quickly and effectively
Ensure strong execution using agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices
Customer Experience & Optimization
Continuously optimize existing features and journeys to improve conversion rates, engagement, and retention
Identify friction points and opportunities through customer insights, data analysis, and experimentation
Champion a customer-first mindset in all product decisions
Innovation & Experimentation
Develop and launch new features, propositions, and experiences that enhance the customer journey
Run structured experiments (A/B testing, MVPs) to validate ideas and scale what works
Bring creativity and innovative thinking to solve customer and business problems
Data & Insights
Use quantitative data and qualitative research to inform product decisions
Define success metrics and track performance against KPIs
Partner with analytics and research teams to generate actionable insights
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial teams to align on priorities and deliver outcomes
Communicate product vision, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders
Build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization
Perks You’ll Get:
Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance
Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages
401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions
Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills
Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars
Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a high-performing e-commerce or digital-first company
Demonstrated success improving customer metrics such as conversion, revenue, and retention
Strong understanding of product management and agile methodologies
Experience leading cross-functional product teams (“pods”) to deliver at pace
Highly customer-focused, with a strong instinct for identifying and solving user problems
Analytical mindset with comfort using data and research to drive decisions
Creative and innovative thinker with a bias toward action
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience managing both B2C and B2B digital experiences, particularly at scale
Exposure to complex, multi-channel digital ecosystems
