International Partnerships Co-ordinator (student placement) / Commercial Placement
Join our dynamic International Leisure & Partnerships team, where you'll play a key role in managing high-profile partnerships with international airlines, hotel chains, credit card companies, and loyalty programs. Through these strategic partnerships, we help drive the success of Avis and Budget car rental on a global scale.
This one-year placement is an incredible opportunity for anyone looking to build a career in a Commercial or Marketing discipline. You’ll engage in a diverse range of responsibilities that will enhance your skill set across multiple areas, including client and internal communications, event planning, copywriting, training, presentation skills, brand-aligned artwork development, digital marketing, e-commerce, and market research.
With this, you will be responsible for providing support to account managers across multiple partnerships. In return, you will be provided with the opportunity to shadow on partnership meetings and be given invaluable account management experience.
Responsibilities include:
Support Partnership Activities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of partnership initiatives, including marketing campaigns, events, and projects.
- Help manage day-to-day communication with partners, responding to inquiries, and providing updates on project progress.
- Support the creation and maintenance of partnership documentation, such as contracts, reports, and presentations.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify potential partnership opportunities that align with the organisation’s goals.
- Analyse partnership performance metrics and assist in preparing reports to evaluate the success of partnership activities.
- Gather market insights and trends to inform partnership strategies.
Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in organising meetings, events, and presentations involving partners.
- Maintain accurate records of partnership activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the Partnerships team as required.
- Ad Hoc projects as required.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing, revenue management, and IT to support the successful execution of partnership projects and activities.
- Participate in team meetings, providing input and ideas for improving partnership processes and outcomes.
- Contribute ideas for new partnership opportunities.
What we are looking for:
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for success in this role. We’re looking for a confident and driven individual who thrives on challenges and has a ‘go the extra mile’ mindset.
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in Business or Marketing and should possess an understanding of technical and e-commerce concepts. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is also crucial.
