HR Specialist

We are looking for an assertive HR talent willing to extend their competencies in this full-time role, based in Brussels/Diegem, to start as soon as possible in the position of: HR Specialist (m/f/d).

In this role, you are responsible for HR-related topics in BeLux as part of an international team (Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway).

Your responsibilities as an HR Specialist (m/f/d):

• You will manage the entire employee life cycle from an HR admin perspective, supported by our HR Shared Service Centre (HR4U)
• You will be responsible for maintaining employee data in our HR systems (Workday), creating standard reports, and ensuring compliance with HR processes and local law
• You will support managers and employees on all HR-related topics and ensure effective local communication
• You will act as key connector between the business and the Centres of Expertise, incl. our Payroll Hub and TA Hub
• You will support managers and employees with our time & attendance system and absence management
• You will take on general administrative and office tasks and be handling labour law processes
• You will assist in international HR projects as needed

Ideally, you possess the following qualifications as an HR Specialist (m/f/d):

• University degree or other certification in HR management and/or labour law
• Initial work experience in a similar role (ideally in an international corporate environment)
• Proficiency in French, Dutch/Flemish and English (spoken and written) is required (German is a plus)
• Confident use of MS Office, including Excel, and enthusiasm for working with various programs and systems
• Service-oriented mindset with a passion for being a sparring partner for managers and employees, as well as taking ownership of your own area
• Strong communication skills, a team-oriented and proactive personality, and a hands-on mentality
• Sense of humour – preferably a lot 😊
