This role is eligible for remote work.
This position on the Global Travel and Partnerships team will be responsible for the development of new business and driving revenue through account acquisition. The Business Development Leader will be responsible for generating leads and pursuing new strategic partnerships in the travel, association and hospitality sector.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities
- Plan and execute effective strategies to successfully acquire new partnership accounts
- Build and cultivate external relationships at the senior management and executive level, developing a strategic assessment of their organizational structure including key decision makers and stakeholders
- Understand the needs and pain points of the account and create a personalized value proposition
- Negotiate complex partnership deals and execute contracts
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across areas of the organization, including pricing, marketing, legal, operations and finance, for the successful implementation of new partnerships
- This is a Hunter Role; cold calling required
- Create and deliver tailored presentations ranging from an initial introduction to a best in class pitches to win the business
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Sales or related field
- Proven track record in sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Driven, self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong networking and collaborative skills, specifically in the travel industry.
- Strong sales planning and executive skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; including proficient in Salesforce
- Minimum travel of 30% is required
