Position Overview

The Facilities Team Leader is responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Budapest Business Support Centre (BSC), ensuring a safe, efficient and high-quality workplace environment.

Based in the Green House, the role coordinates workplace services, manages third-party vendors, and supports the delivery of facilities operations in line with business needs and regional standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining service quality, supporting compliance, and enhancing employee experience through effective workplace management.

Key Responsibilities 

Service Delivery & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate the delivery of all workplace and facilities services across the BSC, ensuring a consistent and high-quality environment

  • Support the management of third-party vendors, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs

  • Assist in monitoring vendor performance, service quality, and compliance with contractual requirements

  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day vendor coordination and issue resolution

Workplace Strategy & Experience

  • Support the daily operation of workplace services including facilities management, supplier coordination, and event support

  • Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring workplace needs are understood and addressed effectively

  • Help maintain a professional, safe and well-functioning office environment that supports employee productivity

  • Support workplace initiatives that enhance employee experience and align with business requirements

  • Managing facilities services at a large, two-storey site serving approximately 420 employees

Compliance, Health & Safety (HSE)

  • Support Health & Safety processes and ensure adherence to local statutory requirements and company policies

  • Assist in maintaining documentation and records required for audits, compliance and vendor management

  • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure safe working practices are followed

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the tracking and reporting of service performance, identifying areas for improvement

  • Assist with budget tracking and cost awareness for facilities-related services

  • Contribute to process improvements and standardisation of workplace services where applicable

Leadership

  • Experience supporting or coordinating teams, including working with both internal staff and external contractors, you will be responsible for 2 direct reports on-site.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University or College degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in facilities, workplace or office management within a corporate or BSC environment

  • Experience working with third-party vendors and supporting service delivery against KPIs and SLAs

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in English and Hungarian (mandatory)

  • Availability to work primarily on-site

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
