Tag Management Analyst
The Tag Management Analyst is responsible for the implementation of changes to our tag management solution, which are directly aligned to Avis Budget Group’s commercial and business priorities. The main objective of the role is to deliver tagging enhancements for a range of stakeholders, as well as supporting the conversion rate optimisation program using our digital analytics tools.
You will utilise knowledge and experience of tag management and analytics, whilst working closely with members of the Marketing Sciences Team and wider business to improve key commercial levers and customer experience across our portfolio of sites and mobile apps in EMEA.
You will often work with third party suppliers and agencies that are engaged to deliver optimal digital customer experience.
Implementing tracking tags and pixels across a portfolio of web properties and managing their deployment via an enterprise-level tag management system on behalf of a range of business stakeholders.
Ensuring that applicable business compliance checks are completed for new tag vendors and liaising with the relevant business teams to support the completion of any relevant documentation.
Monitoring the performance and impact of deployed tags and the wider tag management system itself. Adjusting where necessary to improve site speed and maintain website performance.
Liaising with IT and development teams to ensure enhancements to the website’s data layer are implemented correctly and within a timely manner. Validating changes made to the website’s data layer.
Updating existing tracking tags and pixels to support new business requirements, ensuring that relevant data is passed to tag vendors to support new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Support the digital optimisation programme through analysis of site performance using our digital analytics tool (Adobe Analytics), creation of testing plans, and analysis of test performance.
Work with the regions to identify best practices and facilitate implementation across the portfolio of sites.
Work closely with IT to ensure activities are communicated and aligned to other site developments.
Provide thorough QA of new activities to eliminate risk of a detrimental effect on site performance.
2 years of experience working within tag management systems to deliver change (such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, Adobe Launch etc.).
Evidence of collaborative working that demonstrates a flexible approach to delivery.
Familiarity navigating and using browser developer tools such as the elements tab, developer console and network logs.
Commercially focused and highly driven to meet targets with a meticulous approach to work.
Good communicator with strong influencing skills who is able to interact with people across various disciplines.
High degree of familiarity with, and aptitude for, analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
