What you’ll do:

The Director of Data Platform and Operations will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the managers and technical resources in the teams responsible for Data Platform, Data security and Support/Operations of production systems. This person will be directly responsible for the performance, stability, security and support of all of our Data cloud systems.

You should apply if you bring:

• Master’s Degree plus 10+ years professional experience in IT
• 10+ years of experience with standard processes of running production systems, cloud data infrastructure and product-ionizing new cloud environments
• 10+ years of experience running production support and operations processes and platforms
• 5+ years of experience growing and leading multiple teams across multiple timezones
• Ability to think strategically and identify critical success factors when planning and implementing Data infrastructure. Ability to translate diverse pieces of information into meaningful conclusions and results.
• Proven experience in continuous improvement methodology and solid problem-solving skills to quickly assess an issue, determine root cause, identify possible solutions, make recommendations and drive implementation.
• Demonstrated change management proficiency and ability. Takes a proactive role in bring about change, applying new ways to run data platform and infrastructure through improved management of people and processes
• Proven track record to build relationships at all levels to include remote partners and to influence executives, peers and team members
• Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and facilitation skills to effectively deal with various levels of management and staff.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to develop and lead a hard-working team to meet the function/department/company short-term goals and objectives.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.

Required Skills:

• Highly Experienced in managing Data cloud systems (GCP or AWS)
• Highly Experienced in leading integration and transformation initiatives from on-prem to cloud
