CAREER OPPORTUNITY - AGENCY OPERATOR

Location: Avis, Terminal Building, Santa Teresa, Alice Springs NT 0871

An exciting opportunity is available for the position of Agency Operator to be based at Alice Springs, NT. This position will suit a self-motivated individual looking to operate their own business. The primary focus of the role is the day-to-day operation of the Agency plus continued development of the Avis business. Take over the Agency location, selecting your own team, managing day to day operations and running of the business with close guidance from the Avis Budget Group Manager for Northern Territory.

In taking over this rental operation you would be required to pay overheads such as staffing and insurance but would use Avis Budget Group equipment and take a percentage of the revenue. The successful Agency Operator will be responsible to the State Manager. This is a remote location but one that presents growth and opportunity

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a high standard of Customer Service
• Ensuring location meets audit and customer service standards
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures in line with the agency agreement
• Working efficiently and effectively in a team environment
• Maintaining Avis standards in line with company guidelines
• Liaising with the Fleet and Commercial Managers for fleet requirements
• Printing, actioning and monitoring reports to initiate appropriate actions
• Performing duties as requested
• Identifying potential business opportunities

To be successful as an Agency Operator ideally you will possess:

• A strong entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to succeed in their own business
• The ability to operate a small business, along with the necessary financial & statutory reporting skills
• Proficiency in using the Office suite
• Managerial or supervisory experience
• Basic knowledge of employee relations legislation, including but not limited to Workplace Health & Safety, Bullying & Harassment
• The ability to work independently
• Exceptional customer service skills
