Description

As a Business Analyst you will track revenue and KPIs for relevant business units of the APAC region (Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore).  Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst you will provide accurate reports to senior management whilst maintaining data integrity and assisting with ad-hoc analysis and business case support as required.

This position is a 12-months fixed term role to based out of our Mascot HQ and offers the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week once trained.

What you’ll do

  • Create and maintain tools and reports to effectively analyse large data sets across multiple sources and provide key stakeholders with relevant business insights in a timely manner.

  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and leverage off data-driven insights and recommendations to enable decision making

  • Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of data. 

  • Design, manage and Maintain scheduling of reports and ensure accuracy of standardised reporting and dashboards using a range of tools such as SQL, Power BI, Hyperion, Tableau and Excel. 

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams to develop and analyse data needs

  • Working with systems to drive efficiency and use process reengineering to improve and upgrade reporting.

  • Business process modelling and improving business processes.

What we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field

  • The capability to leverage multiple data sets to manage key business deliverables, while identifying avenues for continuous improvement.

  • Strong competency in SQL, Python or equivalent

  • Demonstrated commercial experience and knowledge in data visualisation tools (such as Tableau or equivalent)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to relevant business stakeholders

  • High level of commercial and financial acumen

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
