The Chargeback Associate is responsible for internal and external inquiries/chargebacks and all related aspects of DMP chargeback functions. Provide guidance, perform audits, testing and training daily. Work closely with our offshore team & keep open communications on any issues.
What You’ll Do:
- Audit chargebacks to improve success rates.
- Work in DMP portal, AMP, Oracle and process AR accounting functions.
- Keep track of all productivity to ensure quality of work is performed.
- Assist with team’s workflow and questions.
- Respond to escalated or sensitive inquiries or chargebacks.
- Subject matter expert to provide support for other Avis Budget Group regions
- Assist in developing new policies and procedures as needed, keeping SOP’s utd.
- Compile data for management and regular departmental reporting.
- Perform standard duties to ensure offshore team is successful.

What We're Looking For:
- Business administration, finance, or other related field, 3-4 years’ experience is an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with fluctuating volumes of work, including delegation of work
- Demonstrated history of accuracy and attention to detail, efficiency, and sound judgment
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to act with discretion and professionalism
- Strong work-ethic and problem resolution skills are critical for success in this position
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to navigate various PC systems
- Knowledge of banking rules and regulations helpful; accounting experience
