Branch Manager

A rare opportunity in the oldest city in the South Island, our Nelson branch (based at the airport) is looking for a Tri-Branded Branch Manager to join and guide our amazing team to success.

The Role

Supporting and growing three of our brands namely, Avis, Budget and Apex Car Retnals, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our operations, logistics and people to ensure your branch is both efficient and profitable.

This varied role will see you very hands-on with:

• Business development and compliance

• Stakeholder liaison

• Work health and safety

• Customer experience and sales, even assisting with vehicle rental if required

• Managing fleet

• Supporting the team including people management and rostering

• Logistics and making sure cars are cleaned and ready when needed

What we are looking for:

Previous experience managing and leading a team in a similar role or environment will be essential to succeed in this position.  Exceptional customer service, business development and workplace health and safety knowledge will also be key.  Experience with MS Office Suite and ability to pick up new systems easily will also be needed (training will be provided for our in-house systems).

Further to the above we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is supportive and caring towards the people they lead and is not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty to help wherever required.
