Want to accelerate your career? Join a team of driven people, performing with purpose.

At Avis Budget Group, we are proud to be a performance driven organization. Our 25,000 employees encourage each other to be at their best through outstanding leadership, training and tools and rewards.

About the Role

As a Deployed Transformation Engineer, you will build and deliver technology solutions that improve how Avis Budget Group operates. As part of the Transformation organization, you will help shape the next generation of applications that enable smarter decisions, better efficiency, and stronger business outcomes. If you are a curious, solutions-oriented problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how a global business operates.

The solutions you develop will support global operations and be used by teams across the organization to power daily work and decision-making. In this role, you will guide technical direction while partnering closely with business and operations stakeholders to identify challenges, prototype solutions, and scale them into production-ready systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and operations, helping translate complex business needs into scalable, impactful solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deliver intuitive, scalable solutions that drive adoption, improve efficiency, and create measurable operational value.

  • Partner with business, operations, and cross-functional teams to understand workflows, define requirements, and translate complex or ambiguous problems into actionable technical solutions.

  • Own solution development end-to-end: from concept through deployment, iteration, and continuous improvement based on performance and user feedback.

  • Enhance, support, and maintain existing applications and mission-critical systems to ensure reliability and alignment with best practices.

  • Lead rollout and adoption efforts through stakeholder alignment, documentation, training, and ongoing user support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or quantitative field with strong problem-solving fundamentals

  • Sharp critical thinking skills with the ability to make thoughtful, well-informed decisions

  • Ability to quickly learn engineering development tools, with curiosity to experiment and build using modern technologies (Python, Java)

  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex challenges.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.

  • Creative with the confidence to challenge the status quo and propose innovative, high-impact solutions

  • Willingness to travel 10–25% to collaborate with field teams and support deployments

The annual starting salary for this position is between $65,000 – $75,000.
Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, work experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
